Prevention Awareness Network's (PAN-Inc.) Personal HOTLINE provides your
company an unbiased loss prevention "consultant" 24 hours a day, seven
days a week. Employees will report customer service or employee-related
problems and concerns as long as they can do so conveniently and in a
non-threatening, anonymous manner. The following examples are actual
calls received on PAN-Inc.'s Personal HOTLINE. |
| "Our assistant manager, John
______ is making fake voids and stealing
money. Several of us have seen this happen. We think something should be
done about it."
"Sue, our manager, came into work drunk and was very obnoxious to us and
the customers in the store. She obviously has a drinking problem..."
"My manager came into work this morning and fired me for theft, but I
didn't steal anything. I want to know what my rights are. Should I get
an attorney or something? This is wrong and I'm really upset."
"A guy was just hired to stock shelves and he gets paid $.50 per hour
more than any of us women who work here. We think this is discrimination
and something should be done about it. Thank you."

Why should
your company subscribe to the HOTLINE?
Federal and state governments pioneered this type of reporting program as a way to detect
fraud, waste, and abuse. These reporting programs have been so successful that many are
now mandated by law. Even the U.S. Congress has decided that companies should accept more
responsibility for preventing their own internal crimes. Current Corporate Sentencing
Guidelines provide stiff penalties for a company's failure to have a reporting
mechanism like the HOTLINE.
What kind of calls does the HOTLINE receive?
The HOTLINE receives calls reporting employees who are engaged in theft activity, sexual
harassment, discrimination, and defamation in the workplace, to name a few. The HOTLINE
allows you to respond to these problems while they are still controllable and before they
become costly and embarrassing to your company.
Why do employees call the HOTLINE?
Honest employees are offended by negative behavior. Contrary to popular belief, studies
show that honest employees will quit their jobs before they will report dishonest behavior
to their employers. The anonymous third-party HOTLINE resolves this problem by
significantly reducing the employee's fear of being placed in a compromising
position.
How do I introduce the HOTLINE to my employees?
When you subscribe to the HOTLINE, we will assist you in introducing the
HOTLINE to your employees who will view the HOTLINE as a legitimate
employee benefit. You will receive:
HOTLINE Customized Employee Introduction Letter.
HOTLINE posters for your break rooms or other
places where your employees will see them regularly.
HOTLINE identification cards to issue your
current and future employees as well as your Customers so they can call the HOTLINE anytime, day or night, even from
home.
