Tutor Module10: Courtroom Testimonials

"See you in court!" are often the last words you hear from employees who have been terminated or shoplifters who have been arrested. As a result, you may find yourself anticipating the possibility of acting as a witness in a criminal or civil trial (or asking an employee to do so.)

This segment is designed to provide general tips regarding the various elements of testimony. It is helpful to have a basic understanding of case preparation, the order of events in a prosecution, and how to testify clearly and accurately so that testimony supporting your side will be more easily understood by the judge and jury and so your input into the proceedings takes on the importance it deserves.
